Cotal is an open pub/sub standard and TypeScript reference implementation for coordinating many AI agents in one shared space over NATS/JetStream. It provides presence, channels, durable unicast and role anycast addressing, a web dashboard, plus connectors for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Hermes.
