fauxnix is a deterministic bash→PowerShell translator for Windows, shipped as an MCP server and CLI for AI agents. Agents keep writing bash (ls, grep, sed, curl, kill); it translates 109 commands to native PowerShell with GNU-style output and bash-style errors — no VM, no WSL, no LLM calls at runtime.
